I have known Matt for more than a dozen years in the capacity of a home repairman and as a volunteer at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sturbridge. As a home repairman, Matt helped to organize my garage by building a workbench and installing a wall board for tools. He has also expertly installed floor molding in a remodeled bedroom. As a volunteer at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sturbridge, Matt has organized and worked with a volunteer crew to paint interior rooms, retile bathroom floors, and numerous other tasks with a high level of skill efficiency.

My name is James Hollins and I am the chairperson of the Property Committee for Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sturbridge, Massachusetts and the president of Environmental Integrity Company located in Holyoke, Massachusetts. I have known Matt Maselli since 2008 and have had the opportunity to work with him on the property committee at Bethlehem. During this timeframe Matt always carried himself in a courteous and professional manner while demonstrating exemplary mechanical skills and craftsmanship in completing large and small remodeling/maintenance projects on the church property. These projects where inclusive of re-leveling and replacing the ceramic tile floor in the church restroom, repairing the exit door frame, replacing door seals and closing mechanism and taking on the monumental task of re-painting the complete interior of the church (including classrooms, the fellowship hall, the kitchen, the sanctuary, the church offices and all the common corridors).
While completing these projects, Matt was always very timely, dependable and attentive to details. If he said he was going to do something, he did it. He was extremely flexible while completing maintenance/remodeling projects to accommodate the many schedule changes associated with on-going church activities. Personally and professionally, I was extremely impressed and pleased with the care Matt took to ensure the work area was cleaned up at the end of the day and care he took to make sure the "QUALITY" of the finished product met the expectations of a varied cross-section of people. Matt listened to what the committee members wanted and co-ordinated the inputs and efforts of a large group of volunteers, while making sure the final end result met the property committees' objectives.
Matt's approach toward many of the projects in our church saved us thousands of dollars and he was open and honest around areas of expertise he felt pushed the boundaries of his skill set. On a couple of occasions Matt, on his own initative, undertook the research on the materials and methodology needed to complete a complex project he and I thought we might need an outside craftsman to complete. Matt's research, his planning skills, attention to details and his willingness to take on projects that pushed his boundaries were completed with the same level of quality and professionalism as those he was comfortable with and in the end saved us hundreds of dollars in potential labor and material costs.
As a result, I can honestly say that without Matt's leadership, his commitment, his drive, his broad skill set and the level of professional craftsmanship he demands of himself, the property committee never would have undertaken and none-the-less completed all the projects we did during 2009. Based on my first hand experience working with Matt and having been the recipient of feedback from the congregation, I would highly recommend him to potential customers for any large or small job and I can make myself available by phone if desired.
